300 symbolic portions of cremated remains or preserved DNA will be placed on a Mars-bound mission. Karmic Legacies coordinates Canadian reservations and logistics.
Mars300 is Celestis’ landmark mission to send 300 symbolic capsules of cremated remains or preserved DNA to the Martian frontier — creating humanity’s first memorial presence on another world. This is an exclusive, limited offering: only 300 participants will be included on the inaugural Mars300 mission.
Karmic Legacies will help Canadian families reserve a spot, manage paperwork and logistics, and explain how Mars300 fits into your legacy plan.
Your loved one can be one of the first 300 to travel to Mars as a final memorial tribute. Reserve your spot for the first Celestis flight to Mars. 90% of your funds are held safely in a Trust until launch date.

Mars300 is strictly limited to 300 participants for the inaugural mission.
Participants provide a symbolic portion of cremated remains or a preserved DNA sample per the Flight Kit instructions; Celestis prepares capsules following certified lab procedures.
Celestis requires a 10% down payment to secure your spot; the remainder is held in trust and released in milestones tied to mission progress, providing protection and refundability until milestones are met.
Mars300 accepts one 1-gram capsule per participant as defined by Celestis. If you want multiple participants or to pair a pet with a loved one, contact us — we’ll confirm current Celestis policy and arrange a tailored quote. (Celestis policies may vary.)
Families are invited to pre-launch memorial services and may access mission webcasts; Celestis typically offers an in-person event and a webcast for remote attendees.
Celestis spacecraft and missions are carefully designed so as not to create space debris, and cremated remains and DNA samples are never released into space. Each Earth Orbit Service spacecraft either stays permanently attached to a rocket stage or a satellite that orbits Earth until the spacecraft harmlessly re-enters and is completely consumed by Earth’s atmosphere — blazing like a shooting star in final tribute to the passengers aboard. For Earth Rise missions the Flight Capsules are flown and recovered, Luna and Voyager missions are flown aboard or as part of a spacecraft and not released. Celestis spacecraft and missions are carefully designed so as not to create space debris, and cremated remains and DNA samples are never released into space. For missions launched aboard a commercially purchased launcher, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Commercial Space Transportation issues a license verifying that the payload does not contribute to orbital debris. For any missions not subject to FAA approval, Celestis voluntarily follows these same strict guidelines to ensure that every mission remains environmentally responsible and prevents orbital pollution.
